MACHINEFUNUse the hosted application
Start at /start. Users do not deploy MACHINEFUN. Compatible USB sensors can connect directly in the browser. The source repository contains separate self-hosting instructions for developers who choose to run their own instance.
Pair a gateway
Run pnpm gateway --keygen on the hardware host. Save the generated device secret locally. Register the machine, paste its public key into the pairing form, and configure MECHAFUN_URL, MACHINE_ID, DEVICE_SECRET_KEY, and SENSOR_URL on the gateway.
Publish real observations
The HTTP adapter expects {"readings":[{"name":"temperature","value":23.4,"unit":"C"}]}. The value shown here is a schema example, not a live measurement. SENSOR_URL is fetched only by the operator-hosted gateway.
Birth challenge
Issue a challenge in the machine page. Set BIRTH_CHALLENGE_ID and BIRTH_NONCE on the gateway for one measurement. Signed payloads use sorted-key canonical JSON and Ed25519 signatures.
Connection setup
Trading works directly from the market page. Operators can connect their own streaming project in /studio/connections, or use external video links. Free evidence reports need no AI account; optional AI calls use each user’s key. No administrator activation is required for normal user flows.
